Public Speaking
Guided by the proven framework of Toastmasters International, members practice speaking in a supportive, judgment-free environment designed to turn fear into confidence. At Peachtree Toastmasters, you don’t just learn about public speaking—you build confidence by doing, practicing five essential forms of public speaking that mirror real-world situations:
Prepared speeches — typically 5–7 minutes, planned and delivered through guided projects
Impromptu speaking —1–2 minute on-the-spot responses to theme-based questions
Meeting leadership speaking — presenting and facilitating as the meeting emcee
Evaluative speaking — delivering clear, constructive feedback to help others grow once you’ve gained foundational speaking experience
Humorous speaking — brief 1–2 minute moments of humor to warm up the room before the meeting begins
Leadership
Leadership isn’t learned by watching—it’s learned by stepping up. At Peachtree Toastmasters, members build leadership skills in a supportive, encouraging environment where growth happens through real experience, not theory. You’ll gain confidence leading others, organizing meetings, and communicating with purpose—at a pace that feels right for you.
